The Union of IKA Pensioners & Merged Insurance Funds of the prefecture of Larisa is calling on all pensioners to participate in the gathering for May Day 2024.
As they say:
“May 1, 2024 will find our country’s pensioners and their families in the worst situation of the last 10 years.
The united attack of parties and governments, the European Union, capital has put the pensioners of our country in a very difficult situation. Their pensions are not even sufficient to cover their basic needs, even though for 10 years the wealth of this country was made by their hands.
As competitively, with pride and dignity we faced the attack against us, we defended our lives and our rights, so we will continue.
We invite all pensioners to give a combative presence to the gathering of the Labor Center of Larisa in the Central Square at 10.30 in the morning.
138 years since the heroic 1the May 1886 in Chicago, we continue our struggle for the abolition of the exploitation of man by man for a just and peaceful world.”
