The pursuit by police officers of a man at noon on Wednesday in Omonia was episodic after the complaint that the suspect was stealing copper from a building in the area.
When the man became aware of the presence of the police and realized that they had entered the building he was in, he began jumping from rooftop to rooftop to evade capture, oblivious to the danger he was facing.
After about half an hour, police officers entered a building on Anaxagora Street, spotted the man on the roof and arrested him.
