The Red Cross supports the EEEEK Komotini

--

The Regional Department of Komotini of the Hellenic Red Cross, proving once again in practice its modern and solidarity social profile and continuing its multifaceted work, decided on the one hand to donate to the Special Vocational Education & Training Workshop (EEEEK) of Komotini, which is located in Weavers, a group first aid pharmacy, fully equipped with health equipment and on the other hand the Samaritans of the Department to train 10 people from the staff of the above Laboratory (educators, special scientific staff, special auxiliary staff) in basic life support and the use of automatic external defibrillator.

For this reason, on Wednesday, April 24, members of the Board of Directors of the Regional Department of Komotini of the Hellenic Red Cross visited the specific Special Laboratory and delivered both the first aid pharmacy and the relevant training certifications, which preceded in time and has already been completed.

The Erythrostavrites, through their president Claras Tzelepi, assured the staff of the Laboratory that they will remain helpful in the great work, which is carried out steadily, with dedication, but also self-sacrifice by the staff who serve in it. In fact, leaving the venue and while exchanging wishes for a good Resurrection, the members of the Board of Directors of the Regional Department of Komotini of the Hellenic Red Cross received with emotion from the staff of the Workshop beautiful handmade lamps – created by the trainees and liquor as a gift for the above special offer.
