Greece bids farewell to the Olympic Flame at the Panathenaic Stadium on Friday – PatrisNews

After the exciting journey of the Olympic Flame for 11 days on Greek soil and after receiving an enthusiastic welcome everywhere, the time has come for it to be handed over to the delegation of the “Paris 2024” Organizing Committee.

The Handover Ceremony begins on Friday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Panathenaic Stadium with the Nana Moushuri to have a central role, while the presenter will be Nikos Aliagas.

The Olympic Light will be brought to the Panathinaikos Stadium by the champion of the walk Antigone Drisbiotiswhile the last Torchbearer in Kallimarmaro will be the captain of the National polo team Giannis Fundoulis, along with his teammates, who won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Finally, the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Kapralos will deliver the Olympic Torch to the President of the “PARIS 2024” Organizing Committee Tony Estanguetto continue his journey to Paris.

Entry will be free for the public who are requested to arrive at the Panathenaic Stadium on time.
