The project “Transmission & interconnection pipes of the district heating installation of Kozani with the single interconnected district heating network of Western Macedonia” with a budget of €42 million (without VAT 24%) was re-announced by the DEYA of Kozani, with an International Electronic Tender.
The re-announcement of the project was made “with individual discount rates according to price groups of similar works and with regularity control of the individual discount rates, for the conclusion of a Public Contract for the project”.
The project includes the construction of a system of underground pipelines to transport superheated water from the production facilities and the transfer pumping station within AES/PPC Kardia to the central transfer & distribution pumping stations of the Kozani District Heating facility in the Kasla area of Kozani.
With this project, the Kozani district heating facility is functionally connected to the Kozani – Ptolemaida – Amyntaios Single Interconnected district heating system with the aim of ensuring the coverage of the district heating energy needs in Western Macedonia, both during the transitional stage and after the withdrawal of the existing lignite units in the region, in implementation of the National Plan for Energy and Climate.
The project is financed by the NSRF 2021-2027, the Public Investment Program and the company’s own resources.
