An exhibition of painting and decoration on fabric entitled “Girls of May” by the visual artist Amalia Pavlidou, is being launched by the municipality of Pylaia-Hortiatis and the Vice Mayor of International Relations, Arts & Sports Development, on Friday 26 April 2024 at 6.30 pm in the “Litsa Fokidi” hall ” of the Panorama Cultural Center.

Applied to jeans, but also silk fabrics, the artist explores the paths of joy, with combinations of colors, textures, qualities, stones and crystals. Its goal is always Simplicity, Harmony and Balance. As she believes Amalia Pavlidou “if these qualities are chosen by a woman to “dress up and to come out” in the world, then her presence will always attract corresponding behaviors».

THE entrance will be free to the public, while the hall “Litsa Fokidi” of the Panorama Cultural Center will be open from them 11.00 in the morning until 21.00 at night.

THE Amalia Pavlidou was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Political Science in Panteion University of Athens and Graphic Design in the USA. He worked as a graphic designer and did 2 painting exhibitions (watercolours). Participate in fashion showcreating the “themes” on the clothes (painting-composition).
