The Municipality of Tripoli announces the program of festive events for Easter.

SATURDAY OF LAZARUS, APRIL 27

“Requiem”
The Orpheus Choir of Tripoli performs the Requiem by the French composer of the late romantic era, Gabriel Urbain Faure (1845-1924). The work is characterized by its melodiousness and calm overwhelming character, accompanied by a small symphonic orchestra. Soprano Yelena Yovanovits Bakopoulou and baritone Vassilis Kostopoulos Denachis participate. Music direction and teaching: Christina Athanassopoulou.

BABY SUNDAY, APRIL 28

Liturgies by Greek Composers in the spirit of the Lord’s Passion by the soprano Georgia Balabini and the organist Magdaleni Kalopana
Awaiting the Resurrection of the Lord, we experience the rapture through selected Liturgies by Greek composers (Augustinos Roussos, Yiannis Drositis, Georgios Poniridis) and the Requiem by Yiannis Roussos will intensify the Religious feeling. A tour of Greek art music for voice and instrument in harmony with the spirit of the Lord’s Passion.
