Syros Hospital: All the work to be done for the new Oncology Unit and the upgrade of the Coronary Unit

Construction work begins immediately Oncology Unit at Syros General Hospital, as announced a few days agothanks to the selfless donation of the Comninos E. Comninos Foundation (A/C Anthony E. Comninos Foundation).

The company in question, with its recent letter to the Hospital administration, informed in detail about all the interventions – works that will soon be carried out in the 2^The floor of the building, which will not only include the creation of a new oncology unit, but also its renovation existing coronary unit.

The work will be carried out in coordination by different subcontractors in order to speed up the delivery time of the project for use.

Indicatively, the tasks to be implemented are the following:

1. moving the entrance of the cardiology unit

2.oxygen and gas console transport

3. demolishing a wall between the cardiology unit and room 222

4. demolishing a toilet in the cardiology unit

5. toilet extension of chamber 222

6. new electrical installations and new pipes for the water supply, drainage and ventilation system

7. replacement of existing false ceiling with removable plates with plastic lining

8. replacement of the covering of the existing MAF floor with a PVC carpet, suitable for sanitary areas

9. placement of plasterboard at the replacement points of the doors

10. placement of a waste disposal bin, which will result from the process and their removal

In the Intensive Care Unit:

1. lowering of the hospitalization fee

2. creation of a new toilet for the disabled

3. configuration of the nematic flow space (space for admixture of cytostatic drugs).
