He was arrested in the early hours of yesterday (23-4-2024) in the area of ​​Menidi, by police officers of O.P.K.E. of the Attica Security Directorate, 36-year-old foreigner for attempted theft with complicity and dishonesty. His accomplices are being sought.

In particular, the 36-year-old together with his accomplices moving with car in the area of ​​Glyfadathey first bumped into protective pillars and then tried to break the store’s shutters in order to gain access to its interior, however the alarm sounded and the perpetrators escaped.

Police using signals called the driver to stop, but he sped off. They followed the vehicle to the area of ​​Menidi, where it was also stopped perpetrators fled on foot.

In the search box, OPKE police officers they identified the 36-year-old and took him to the Glyfada Security Department, where he was identified as one of the perpetrators of the above crimes.

The arrested person, with the case filed against him by the Glyfada Security Department, was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
