The Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Ieronymos was visited today by the candidate Chamber President of the EPANEKINISI combination Mr. Papalexis Dimitrios, starting from the Holy Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos the cycle of visits to agencies and authorities.
The strengthening of the cooperation of the Holy Metropolis with the Chamber of Larissa was discussed at the meeting. Mr. Papalexis proposed to His Eminence two actions for which the Chamber can substantially contribute to the excellent social work of the Holy Metropolis of Larissa and Tyrnavos. Specifically, the creation of a mechanism to collect all unused meals from the city’s businesses and distribute them for the feeding needs of our fellow citizens, as well as the creation of a special educational program, so that our fellow citizens who are in a disadvantaged position can acquire basic skills in the professions that businesses need staff for. Finally, His Eminence wished good success for the upcoming elections to Mr. Papalexis.
The candidate of the combination Mr. Thomas Bakouras was also present at the meeting.
