“I appreciate that the unprecedented process of selecting MEP candidates from the grassroots is a process that gives everyone the right to participate without pre-selected decisions and sends the message that a participatory active society has a primary role to achieve the desired change of the country with a European perspective ” said the SYRIZA MEP candidate and lieutenant general and added:
“Unfortunately, anchors, mindsets and political attitudes of years, together with the memorandum crisis, did not lead the country to European convergence at all levels and in recent years with the ND government, instead of converging, we diverge from the principles of Europe’s values and the rule of law. SYRIZA is the only party whose president Stefanos Kasselakis recently submitted his proposals for Europe ahead of the European elections, stressing that we want a democratic, green Europe, a Europe of solidarity, security, work, economic growth and convergence. I will personally give all my strength for a winning result…”.
