Ionia will be reinforced with two teams, the 15th EMODE in Corfu and the 16th in Kefalonia, which will consist of 30 people, scientific and technical staff and will be flanked by at least 6 people, officers from the existing personnel of the fire service.

The members of EMODE will be in Corfu and Kefalonia with the start of the fire season and are expected to take up their duties immediately.
