Two major projects, which were projected as emblematic by the Region of Epirus, are on hold. The reason for the High Research and Technology Park, for which IKE’s response is expected with the share capital of five thousand euros, but also for the Closed Fencing, which currently remains a pile of irons!
Another important Ioannina property is owned by the Region of Epirus through the Regional Fund.

At the time when it was almost forgotten, the Regional Governor of Epirus, shared with his online friends photo-realistic images from “Hani” without mentioning more details.
A few weeks ago, he had announced to the Regional Committee that the Region would undertake, through the Interreg cross-border program, to proceed with the restoration of an important property that passed into its ownership.
He had mentioned that the study is ready which is apparently true since he released the photorealistic rendering.
This property has an area of 1600 square meters. It was purchased by the Region of Epirus – the Regional Fund – for approximately 420 thousand euros, a process that was completed after a declaration in 2020.
So far, neither the cost of the reconstruction of this particular Chania nor the way in which the Region will utilize it has been announced.
