Participation of D. Ioanniton’s Music Ensembles in the “Byzantine Week” in Arta

The events entitled “Byzantine Week” combine the climate of religious immersion of the Easter season

In the events entitled “Byzantine Week”, organized by the Municipality of Artaion in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arta and the Holy Metropolis of Arta, the Student Youth Orchestra Do Re Mi of the Municipal Conservatory of Ioannina and the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Ioannina participate, following a relevant invitation of the Municipality of Artaia.

The events entitled “Byzantine Week” combine the climate of religious immersion of the Easter period and take place in Byzantine monuments of Arta, such as Panagia Parigoritissa, Agia Theodora, Panagia tis Vlacherna, the Holy Monastery of Kato Panagia, etc.

The Student Youth Orchestra Do Re Mi, directed by Gerasimos Lolis, will perform at the Holy Church of Panagia Parigoritissa, on Holy Monday, April 29, 2024 at 12 noon.

The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Ioannito, under the musical direction of Alexandra Bezevegis, will perform on Holy Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 21:00, on Philharmonic Day, on the Skoufa pedestrian street. The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Philharmonic Society of Artis “O Skoufas” and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa will perform with her.
