The MP Konstantinos Floros who turned the Parliament into a ring is detained in GADA

--

The independent MP Konstantinos Floros (former member of the K.O. of the Spartans) has been taken to GADA, who was brought after the attack with fists on the MP of “Hellenic Solution”, Vassilis Grammenos, inside the Parliament.

The MP, Konstantinos Floros, was taken to the General Police Directorate of Attica in the process of self-incrimination, as the Speaker of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, ruled that he had violated Article 157 of the Criminal Code, according to which it is a felony to commit violence against a Member of Parliament during the exercise of his powers. of his duties and the penalty reaches 10 years.
The police officers first brought him to the parliament guardhouse and then took him to the police station on Alexandra Avenue.

According to his lawyers, there is no arrest yet, while a case file is expected to be prepared and sent to the public prosecutor.

As the legal representatives of the former member of the “Spartaites” say, there may be a referral from the Parliament for a felony, however the Prosecutor is the one who will decide on the legal characterization of the case.

What came before

The episode began at the Plenary Session of the Parliament where the lifting of the immunity of the President of the Hellenic Solution Kyriakos Velopoulos was being considered following a lawsuit filed against him by the father of Konstantinos Floros for attacks he had received online from trolls behind which he claims to be Kyriakos Velopoulos.

Frame by frame the episode

As you can see in the photos, MP Konstantinos Floros tried to be restrained by his colleague, but it was impossible.

As soon as they left the Plenary Hall and while they were on the stairs they started exchanging insults and MP Vassilis Grammenos was attacked by MP Konstantinos Floros who initially grabbed him by the neck and threw him down and punched him.

Mr. Grammenos was taken injured to the doctor’s office and then to the General Hospital as he felt dizzy.

The dialogue that preceded according to Mr. Floros:

Konstantinos Floros: This will be decided by the judges.
B. Grammenos: Shut up you garbage
K. Floros: Come on
B. Grammenos: C@@ your mother… I’ll take you, your mother, and with the bracelets inside you’ll remember it in the past.

The deputies watched the episode dumbfounded.

However, the side of the Greek Solution states that the above dialogues are not valid.

The announcement of the Hellenic Solution states: “For some time now, an imaginative so-called dialogue has been circulating on all the sites, between the MP of the Greek Solution Vassilis Grammenos and the MP of the Spartans Konstantinos Floros. The dialogue in question was given by the accused himself – for a felony now – but also by some “well-wishers”, who are trying to involve the Greek Solution, inventing him, as a line of defense. We call on all media to refrain from reproducing it, otherwise we will be forced to go to court.”

The removal from the Parliament of the independent MP Floros, escorted by a guard, was decided by the Parliament following a proposal by the president of the body Konstantinou. Tasula. On the occasion of the brutal, as Mr. Tasoulas characterized it, behavior of Mr. Floros against the MP V. Grammenos of the Hellenic Solution, Mr. Tasoulas said that when we were making the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament “we thought we were addressing fundamentally reasonable people” and that at this moment, “the heaviest that I can impose on the deputy who raised his hand against a colleague […] is to remove him, with the guard, for 15 days from the proceedings of the body.” As Mr. Tassoulas said, “it’s a stroke of luck against the vulgarity and brutality of his behavior, but we’ll see later, obviously there will be a waiver of immunity, and he will also face the consequences of this brutal behavior.”

Obviously, Mr. Tasoulas added, Mr. Floros will also be referred to the Ethics Committee of the Parliament. In fact, addressing the president of Hellenic Solution, K. Velopoulos, who had risen to the podium, Mr. Tasoulas said: “Mr. President, I apologize as the president of the Parliament for this incident. I feel like it’s about me too. It happened a while ago here, outside the plenary. We will make sure that the consequences of this act are as severe as possible”, stressed Mr. Tasoulas.

Commenting on the episode, Mr. Velopoulos considered it “unthinkable, for politicians to behave violently like sheep-like wolves. Everyone can find as many excuses as they want […] Do you know what is the difference between humans and other animals? Animals may react if you tease them. But man differs in mind, judgment and logic, which some people do not have here, unfortunately”.
