The president of the Chamber of Achaia, Platon Marlafekas, had a meeting with the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, on the occasion of his visit to Patras on Friday, April 19.
Mr. Papastergiou visited the Chamber of Achaia, where he was received by President Platon Marlafekas, Vice President Aristides Teligadis and Secretary General Theodoros Tsoumbelis.
Among other things, the minister was informed about the activity and initiatives of the Chamber and the “Digital Business Ecosystem”.
Mr. Papastergiou pledged his support to the Chamber’s initiatives and actions aimed at supporting innovative business startups in the region.
On Thursday, April 18, the Chamber was visited by the Deputy Minister of Development, Maximos Senetakis. The Deputy Minister was welcomed by the President, the Secretary General Mr. Tsoumbelis and the member of the Board of Directors and Administrator of the Development Chamber Andreas Dakolias.
Mr. Senetakis had the opportunity to learn about the activity and initiatives of the Chamber for the promotion of innovation. The Deputy Minister expressed particular interest in the PATRAS IQ know-how transfer exhibition scheduled for October 2024. The essential participation of Elevate Greece, the official web portal for start-ups, was agreed upon, as the Chamber’s management gives particular interest in this field.
-On Thursday, April 18, the President of the Chamber welcomed to the organization’s offices, the New Democracy MEP candidate Spyros Karanikolas, who also hails from Patras. Mr. Karanikolas has published several legal articles and a comprehensive book entitled: “The impact of European Criminal Law on the Greek Criminal Legal Order”.
