New Democracy, PASOK and the New Left submitted a memorandum to the Areopagus against the participation of the “Spartiates” party in the European elections.
The A1 Department of the Supreme Court decided today, Wednesday (24/04) non-participation of the “Spartiates” party in the European elections of June 9. In the coming days – perhaps even before Easter – the decision of the Electoral Court is expected, which will decide the parliamentary future of the Spartans as well as the decisions for the 12 seats they hold.
New Democracy, PASOK and the New Left submitted a memorandum to the Areopagus against the participation of the “Spartiates” party in the European elections.
After all, 31 parties and coalitions of parties out of 46 who had initially declared participation in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court, got the “green light” from the A1 Political Department of the Supreme Court to participate in the European elections. Therefore, by unanimous decision of the Supreme Court, excluding the Spartans and 14 other parties.
According to reports the remaining 14 parties that entered had not submitted the required fee of 20,000 euros.
In particular, the following combinations are excluded from the election:
