Invitation to participate in outdoor markets, on the occasion of religious holidays

Taking into consideration:
• Article 33-38 of Law 4849/2021
• the decision No. 62/2024 of the Municipal Council regarding the operation
outdoor market on the occasion of religious holidays.
• the decision no. 147/2022 of the Municipal Council by which the
regulation for the operation of open-air markets on the occasion of religious and anniversaries, which includes the location of this market, its duration, the items sold, the method of selection and placement of sellers, the fees paid and the method of collecting them, as well as any other matter related to the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the market.
• Decision No. 27/2024 of the Municipal Council, which determines the
corresponding fees.

We invite interested exhibitors who wish to participate in the flea market depicted in the table below

A. sellers who have a certificate of outdoor trade activity of one year duration in the short-term markets. This certificate is issued by the Municipality of the permanent residence of the interested party in accordance with article 34 of Law 4849/2021 and articles 1 and 2 of decision no. 21049 of the Minister of Development and Investments (Government Gazette 981 B/3-3-2022) ..

B. License of producer seller and professional seller active in street markets.

C. License to operate in stationary or itinerant trade

D. Craftsman-artist license
to declare an interest in order to be granted permission to participate for the disposal of their goods in the context of these open-air markets.

Those interested must submit under penalty of disqualification:
a. photocopy of their license,
b. an application in which the position they wish to obtain must be indicated,
until 29/04/2024.

We note that if the number of applications exceeds the number of available licenses with this announcement, a public lottery will be held. A lottery will also be held among those selected for the position that each one will receive. The draw will take place on 29/04/2024 at the offices of DTOA (P. Harisi 6- 3rd floor) and then the winners will pay the corresponding fees to the Municipality fund, in order to approve their participation in the outdoor market. The outdoor markets last 24 hours. From the eve of the holiday (07/05/2024) at 17.00 until the day of the celebration (08/05/2024) at 16.59

The fees to be paid have been determined by 27/2024 ADS and are shown in the table below

Market participants will occupy the positions exactly as depicted in the diagram of the relevant Decision.
