The video secured and published by the Mega TV station shows frame by frame the beating of the dog. One day at noon, a gunshot is heard and dogs are barking.

“A little dog comes out on the right side and gets shot on the left side. There is no other house there, only the perpetrator’s, the shot was heard from there and my niece saw it clearly,” says brigadier general Zikos Nikolaos.

“The alleged assailant, because he didn’t see the car from my nieces, took the opportunity to take his gun and shoot the dog from his driver’s side. But my niece, because she was on the terrace of the house, saw him. When he saw my niece he was terrified, picked up the gun and entered the house from the back. When he came out after half an hour, he glared at my niece,” she added.

The dog that can be heard in the video growling after the shooting was not a stray. He returned injured to his owner.
