Way above safety limits were the dust levels in the Tripoli area.

The meteorological station of the Chamber of Arcadia collected detailed data on the micro-climate of Tripoli and contributed to the study and understanding of climatic and atmospheric conditions.

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, there was a huge increase in the concentration of suspended particulate matter (PM), 10 and 2.5 µm in diameter in Tripoli.

More specifically, the Tripoli station recorded:

For PM 10, a maximum concentration of 1510.108 µg 3 and an average concentration of 97.22 µg/m 3.

For PM 2.5, a maximum concentration of 288.41 μg/m3 and an average concentration of 23.03 μg/m3.
