“We stand by the Local Committee of SEGAS of Corfu and join in its fair fight for the improvement of the conditions in the sports facilities of the island and especially in the National Sports Center of Corfu. The struggle of the athletes, coaches and sports people is a struggle of all the people of Corfu”, states the Corfu MP of PASOK D. Biagis in his statement.

Despite our questions, our interventions with topical questions and reports, despite the memos and letters to the relevant Ministry, the State has not fulfilled what it has promised and the sports youth of our island deserve.
We invite all the institutions of the island to a joint struggle to solve the major problems facing the Sports Center of Corfu and we declare our full support to the people of sports who make us proud with their morals, competitiveness, dignity and the tangible results of their work them on the playing fields.
