Offer of love and solidarity for the Holy Days of Easter through the “Poor Brother’s Basket” (vid/pics)

At noon on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Holy Metropolis, through its representatives and the Overseer of the Holy Metropolis of Mantineia and Kynouria, His Eminence Metropolitan Monemvasia and Sparta Mr. Efstathios, distributed food and other goods to the Parishes of Tripoli and Kynouria for our needy fellow human beings in view of of the Easter holiday.

The distribution took place at the site of the Charity Program “The Poor Brother’s Basket”, in Ethnarchos Makarios-Independence Square, where the Bishop of our Holy Metropolis Mr. Efstathios said he was happy and moved for the whole effort and warmly thanked and praised all the sponsors in this important offer of love and solidarity, such as businessmen, monasteries and even the Monastery of Vatopedi, as well as the partners of the Charity Program of the Holy Metropolis whom he congratulated for their valuable voluntary contribution and wished donors and recipients mental and physical health, a happy resurrection while not he also failed to mention the Blessed Metropolitan Alexandros of Mantineia and Kynouria for the great inspiration and initiative to implement this Charity Program “The Poor Brother’s Basket” and his always great contribution to his fellow human beings.
