On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the awarding ceremony of the schools that participated in the above Competition was held at the Cultural Center of the European University of Cyprus in Nicosia.

The Competition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, S.A. President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and S.A. President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulidis.

The awards were made by, among other officials, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Cyprus, the Ambassadors of Greece in Cyprus and of Cyprus in Greece, the Director of Education of DPE Serres.

There were entries from all over the world. Projects were awarded in various categories (film, newspaper, song, project, visual creations).

Through the BRIDGES built by this Competition, we also managed to build the bridge that joined the Peloponnese to Cyprus with the participation and award of the 4th Primary School of Tripoli in the Visual Creations category with the title “The children of Greece and Cyprus show the future”.

The award was received on behalf of the Director of Education of Arcadia, Ms. Karountzou Georgia, Ms. Lagonikou Sofia and the Director of the 4th Primary School of Tripoli, Ms. Vasiliki Symproukou
