On April 19, this year’s season in Europe for the Norwegian cruise company (NCL) began, with the first voyage of the Norwegian Epic from Rome to the Greek Islands and Italy, lasting 10 days.

During the 2024 season, the company offers 101 unique European itineraries, of which 38 round trips and 63 “open” itineraries, with approaches to over 140 ports in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Greek islands and the Atlantic.

The itineraries concerning Greece are the following…

-Norwegian Getaway will offer 10-day cruises to the Greek islands from June 25, departing from Piraeus. On a daily basis, the ship will approach new ports (Istanbul, Heraklion, Santorini, Mykonos, Izmir). Select dates include an overnight stay in Istanbul, with over 24 hours of local sightseeing.

-Norwegian Viva will cruise the Mediterranean from May to November 2024, with ports of embarkation and disembarkation in Piraeus, Lisbon, Venice and Rome.

-Norwegian Escape, Norwegian’s largest ship sailing this season in Europe, based in Barcelona, ​​will make calls to Rome and Venice on eight- or 10-day round-trip cruises, as well as seven- to 11-day itineraries with stops in Italy, Greece and France.

A total of nine NCL cruise ships will be sailing in Europe, including the two new and most innovative ships Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, as well as Norwegian Escape which is re-engaging in Europe after the summer of 2022.
