The Development Organization of Local Self-Government “K. KARATHEODORI S.A.”, adopting its statutory purposes for consulting and technical support of OTAs, comes to meet the needs of local governments, contributing decisively to the implementation of their development goals.
In this context, the Mayor of Komotini Ioannis Garanis and the President of “K.KARATHEODORI SA” Athanasios Lapatas, proceeded to sign a new Program Contract entitled “Providing Administrative Support for the registration of the real estate of D. Komotini”.
Specifically, through this Program Agreement and the cooperation, the Local Government Development Organization “K.KARATHEODORI SA”, contributes to the registration of the municipal real estate in electronic and physical form, facilitating the Municipality of Komotini for the future investigation of its utilization methods .
All the necessary actions that will be followed will contribute to safeguarding the real rights of the Municipality over its real estate, as well as drawing up a plan for its optimal utilization for the future.
The management and utilization of the Municipality’s properties not only entails a direct financial benefit for the Municipality, but also includes other dimensions, linked to the satisfaction of social needs, but also the promotion of cultural, environmental, scientific, recreational and other goals, which in any case they serve the municipal interest and upgrade the quality of life of the citizens, promoting sustainable development at the same time.
The President of K.KARATHEODORI S.A. Athanasios Lapatas, on the occasion of the signing of the contract, said: “The rational and efficient utilization of the real estate of the Municipality of Komotini is particularly important, as it can be an additional source of income, as a means of achieving the development goals of the Municipality and the implementation of its action for the benefit of the local community.
