Kolossos: Agreement to increase the capacity of the stadium! – Basketball

A very important step to fight for Colossus of Rhodes for the first time in Europe it happened. With the assistance of the Municipality of Rhodes, it was decided to carry out projects for the expansion and increase in the capacity of the closed Kallitheain order to meet the conditions for his participation in the BCL of the following period.

Until recently, any intention of Kolossos to play in Europe was based on the lack of a field, however this year – after the excellent course of the team that entered the Top 6 – it was decided to make an effort in order to have all the conditions for participation in the European competitions.

With the personal intervention of the Mayor of Rhodes, Mr. Alexandros Koliadis, the way is finally opened for the European path of the Kolossos H Hotels team, with the expansion and increase in capacity of the Kallithea Indoor Gym!

After a meeting held with the Mayor of Rhodes, Mr. Alexandros Koliadis, which was attended on behalf of K.A.E., the vice-president Michalis Melis and the long-time supporters of the group Yiannis Hatzilazarou and Vassilis Kougios, we were informed with great joy and satisfaction that the Municipality of Rhodes will undertake the work for the expansion and increase in capacity of the Kallithea Indoor Gymnasium.

Thanks to the determination of the Mayor of Rhodes, very soon KAE Kolossos H Hotels, the players, the sports fans and also the citizens of Rhodes will have the Indoor Stadium they deserve and are entitled to!
