Meeting of the Authorized Councilor of the Municipality of Heraklion Nikos Kontarakis with the President of the ITE

By President of the ITE Professor Nektarios Tavernarakis met on Tuesday 23/4 o Appointed Councilor of the Municipality of Heraklion for the interconnection of the Municipality with the University and Research Institutions Nikos Kontarakis.

Among the issues discussed during the meeting, which took place in a very good atmosphere, was the question of access and infrastructure of the Institute as well as the possibility of cooperation between the two sides for the organization of speeches and scientific activities in the Municipality of Heraklion.

Finally, both the President of ITE Nektarios Tavernarakis and the Authorized Councilor of the Municipality of Heraklion Nikos Kontarakis expressed the intention for close cooperation on matters of mutual interest with the aim of strengthening the ties between the scientific community and the citizens.
