Funding for actions against school bullying from the municipal authority of Larissa – A complaint on the Stop-bullying platform from our area (photo-video)

An interesting workshop on: “Indoor violence and bullying: prevention, intervention and good practices in school and family” takes place today at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa.

The phenomenon of school violence and school bullying has taken on large proportions recently, with the educational community trying to manage it in the best way.

Speaking at the conference, the deputy mayor of Larisa Iraklis Gerogiokas noted that the issue of bullying is of interest to the municipal authority of Larisa, announcing that a part of the budget will be allocated to actions against school bullying.

The director of Primary Education of Larissa Ekaterini Karagiorgou for her part, she emphasized that a complaint is currently registered from Larissa on the digital platform https://stop-bullying.gov.gr.

She points out that the increase in incidents of intra-school violence is a real fact and should concern not only the educational community but also the whole society.

Invited speakers, with deep knowledge of the phenomenon and with many years of experience in dealing with it, will help the educational community and every interested party to understand it more deeply, to search for and apply the best practices in dealing with it.

The Child Psychiatrist – KEDASY of Larisa, Kon/nos Zagorianos developed the speech on the topic: “Psychiatric difficulties-disorders and the relationship with school bullying”.

In his statements referring to the issue, he emphasized, among other things, that “children who are bullied at school suffer”.

The Conference aims to train the teachers of the School Units of the Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, who will be called upon to handle incidents of intra-school violence and bullying, as well as to inform and raise awareness of the parents/guardians of students of the Primary and Secondary Education School Units , but also of the local community as a whole, in this crucial issue.
