The burglary in an apartment in Menemeni is recorded by a security camera, which shows the movements of the perpetrator. Concern in Thessaloniki, from the rise in crime…

The perpetrator using a screwdriver breaks the door of a residence in the area of Menemeni in Thessaloniki, on the evening of Monday, April 22. His movements, however, are recorded by a security camera. The clock shows 20:14 and the video reveals the movements of the perpetrator from the beginning to the end of the burglary.

The perpetrator without even having his features covered enters the house and the first thing he does is turn off the camera. According to thesstoday.gr information, the owner of the residence at that time was at work and received a notification on his cell phone from the camera that movement has been detected inside the house.

But because he lives with a relative, he didn’t pay attention and thought there was no cause for concern.

Three hours later they both returned and the image they encountered at their residence was nightmarish: an unlocked door to a disturbed area, from which cash, two wallets, two laptops, a tablet and a hard drive were missing.

The same information states that the victims after the burglary are looking for a house to move out of the area, for fear of being targeted again.
