Seven persons who made up “danger and unacceptable threat” for the Australian citizens arrested today during a police anti-terrorist operation in which they participated 400 members of class forces.

Two senior police officers have indicated that the people arrested are linked to the 16-year-old accused of stabbing a bishop in Sydney last week. The arrested had embraced “extremist ideology motivated by religious motives”the same sources noted.

THE Dave Hudson, A senior New South Wales Police official said it was “likely” the group arrested was planning an attack, although no specific target had been identified.

“Their behavior during surveillance led us to believe that they were going to commit an action that we would not be able to prevent.”explained. “During the investigation we believed it was possible that they would launch an attack”Hudson noted.

The seven arrested are minors, the police said.

Last week the Mar Marie Emmanuel, A bishop at an Assyrian church in Sydney was attacked with a knife by a 16-year-old, resulting in head and chest injuries, during a service broadcast live over the internet.

After the attack, incidents broke out outside the church.

Police immediately described the teenager’s attack as “terrorist” and launched an investigation involving federal police, NSW police and intelligence agencies.
