Police officers from the Property Crimes Department investigated cases of theft from homes. The total loot of the perpetrators amounts to 50,000 euros.

In detail, in a statement, the police state:

In addition to the policing of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki with foot and mounted patrols, systematic and targeted actions that lead to spontaneous arrests for various crimes, Services of the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki conduct investigations regarding cases that took place in the past, in order to identify the perpetrators.

In this context, police officers of the Crimes Against Property Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, after a methodical and thorough investigation and using evidence, filed case files against three (3) nationals for five (5) cases of house burglaries.

In more detail, the files that were filed concern:

• 28-year-old, who in January of this year, in the area of ​​Kalamaria, broke into two (2) houses, from which he took a total of 1,500 euros worth of jewelry and 31,500 euros in cash.

• 29-year-old man, who in August 2021, in the area of ​​Pylaia, broke into two (2) houses, from which he took jewelry worth a total of 1,000 euros and the amount of money of 9,000 euros and

• 27-year-old, who in December 2020, in the area of ​​Toumba, burglarized a house, from which he took jewelry worth 7,000 euros.

The relevant case files will be submitted to the competent Prosecutor.
