More than 80 team members who will compete in the 3rd MRC GLOBAL OLYMPIAD Robotics Olympiad, have arrived in Heraklion! These are members of groups from Egypt, Brazil, Turkey and Romania, while the arrivals are expected to peak on the evening of Thursday, April 25, a few hours before the start of the event, which takes place at the Closed Stadium of Nea Alikarnassos (Heraklion ARENA Dyo Aorakia) from Friday, April 26 until Monday, April 29, 2024.
In the competitive part of it 3rd Robotics Olympiad MRC GLOBAL OLYMPIAD 36 country delegations will participate, competing in 19 events, some of which are Wrestling, Archery, Shot Put, Marathon, Football, Pentathlon, Relay, etc. At the same time, in the unique online competition category Exhibition – Innovation, 9 countries, including Greece, are competing for the most innovative business idea. At the end of each day, the titles for the day’s events will be awarded and the awards will be accompanied by music and dance events.
At its venue 3rd Robotics Olympiad MRC GLOBAL OLYMPIAD will also be found the Sophia robot on Sunday 28 April, after 5.30pm.
Admission to the public is free for all exhibitions, events and competitions from 09:00 in the morning to 20:00 in the evening.
