Ilion: Video document of a traffic collision of a 23-year-old woman who was crossing a crossing – The driver was arrested

Miraculously, a 23-year-old woman is alive, who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the middle of the road in Ilion last Sunday night (21/4).

“I lost consciousness and then when I woke up I saw the whole world on top of me. We called an ambulance and Traffic, where it came in a few seconds”, describes the girl, speaking on the MEGA show, “LIVE NEWS”, while mentioning that she feels some intense pain.

“He was saved by luck. He could have killed her, but he didn’t stop for a moment,” emphasizes her friend in turn, in the same medium.

The chronicle of the traffic accident in Ilion

Everything happened shortly after 23:20, Sunday night (22/4). The girl attempted to cross Thivon Avenue from a crosswalk.

Halfway through the route, the traffic light turns green for cars. Then, the black jeep crashed into the 23-year-old, threw her to the ground and continued on its way as if nothing had happened.

Amazingly, the driver has just hit a pedestrian and doesn’t even stop to see if he’s alive or if he needs help. A few meters down, a delivery driver followed him, stopped him and called the police, who proceeded to arrest him.

According to information from MEGA, the girl is in shock. He was taken to the hospital for first aid, while what he is asking for is exemplary punishment for the 49-year-old driver.

“I was walking and I felt someone touch me quickly and the world turned around me and I fell down,” said the 23-year-old.

Both the 23-year-old woman and the 49-year-old driver were subjected to a breathalyzer test, which came out negative.
