Section on intra-school violence and bullying from the Directorate of Primary Education of Larisa

The Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, in cooperation with the members of the four-member Action Group for the Prevention and Counteraction of Intra-School Violence and Bullying, which is formed by the Director of Primary Education of Larisa, Mrs. Ekaterini Karagiorgouas President and the Education Advisor, branch PE70, Mr. Georgios Mangopoulosthe Psychologist, branch PE23, Ms. Savourdou Irini and the Social Worker, branch PE30, Ms. Zerva Georgiaas Members, organizes an educational Day on “Intra-school violence and bullying: prevention, intervention and good practices in the school and the family”, which will take place today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in its auditorium Municipal Gallery of Larissa – G. I. Katsigra Museum.

The Conference is open to the public and aims to train the teachers of the School Units of the Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa, who will be called upon to handle incidents of intra-school violence and bullying, as well as to inform and raise the awareness of the parents/guardians of students of School Units of Primary and Secondary Education, but also of the local community as a whole, in this critical issue.

The invited speakers, with deep knowledge of the phenomenon and with many years of experience in dealing with it, will help the educational community and any interested party to understand it more deeply, to search for and apply the best practices in dealing with it.
