A huge queue of cars on BOAK at the junction of Viomichaniki created a morning traffic jam

Queues of kilometers were formed on Wednesday morning at BOAK from the Katsambadian bridge to the Viomichaniki junction. The reason is the closure of the electricity entrance to the junction to the settlement of Kallithea.

As a result, a huge queue was created on the BOAK, which reached up to the bridge of Katsamba, with the cars literally moving in order to enter the junction towards Viomichaniki and reach their destination.

The dangerous thing is that, due to their haste, many drivers in the morning or in similar cases form a double lane of cars to enter the junction, as a result of which they literally block part of the lane on the national highway leading to the airport, which it is extremely dangerous to cause an accident.

The honking on Wednesday morning because of this was indicative of the situation and the nervousness it created for many drivers who wanted to get to work quickly and safely. It should be noted that on the junction, at the crossroads that leads either to Viomichaniki, or to Kallithea or Alikarnassos, there were traffic officers regulating the traffic.
