The removal of buildings and the KPE of Aiani

The upgrade of the lake that whets the appetite of floating solar investors was discussed at the extraordinary accountability meeting of the Velventos Municipal Council. In fact, a special mention was made of the Environmental Information Center in Aiani, which in the opinion of municipal councilors could be in Velvedo or Servia, since the bird observatory that was included in the fishing program did not proceed either.

For the green areas, nothing progressed because there were formal and substantive problems with the permits and the expropriated areas in the flood and expropriation zones where activities are not allowed. In fact, after the throwing of mortars in Agios Charalambos, there is a general ban on actions in the expropriated area. The rubble was excavated products after all. For the rest of the lakeside road, PPC has not yet answered whether activities will be allowed.

What is worrying, however, as he said, is that after the report to the PPC that reached the courts, those who have made constructions – buildings – because the zone is considered expropriated – may be asked to remove them. Can the municipality use its own resources for temporary constructions if permits are secured. It was also said that the regional governor requested a new study on the placement of the floats and what proposals can be implemented in the lakeside zone. Perhaps with the Interreg program to become the observatory that did not proceed.
