Vasiliki Tzima from Larissa, managed to win impressions both in Greece and abroad, with the miniature dolls she creates from polymer clay and are “dressed” in the colorful traditional costumes of our homeland.

The artist says that she has been involved in painting since she was young, with the dream of becoming a painter, a fashion designer, a graphic artist. He finally studied architecture at the University of Thessaly from where he graduated in 2010. He has been working with clay amateurishly since 2009 and professionally since 2020.

As for the traditional costumes, she says that they are a challenge, in this light, with all their diversity. After all, he loves them for an additional reason, since for the last two years he has been involved in traditional dance and thus came into closer contact with the traditional element.

She says she is moved when people of all ages approach her just to say a good word or share a photo with their local costume. Her creations have been sent to different parts of Greece but also to the United States, Canada, Australia and Belgium.
