305 million the new budget of the Improvement Plans – 28 million in Western Macedonia

The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Lefteris Avgenakis & the competent Deputy Minister, Dionysis Stamenitis in collaboration with the Secretary General of Union Resources and Infrastructure, Dimitris Papagiannidis, announce the modification of the budget of the Call for action 4.1.5 (Improvement Plans).

Taking into account the increased number of applications submitted under the measure’s last call, the action’s budget is increased by €125 million. After this increase, an average of 75.6% of the requested public expenditure is covered.

The new budget of the action per Region is structured as follows:

At the same time, the possibility of submitting payment requests by the beneficiaries of the action has already been activated in the State Aids IT System.

The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Lefteris Avgenakis said:

“Through the increase in the Improvement Plans Budget, we continue the effort to modernize the primary sector, support producers and meet the needs created by the new conditions and new data in the production of agri-food products.

With actions we support the Greek producers and arm them with all the necessary supplies to face the problems of today, but also the challenges of tomorrow”.
We remind you that through action 4.1.5 it is possible to implement investments by natural and legal persons, farmers, in their agricultural holdings.

Eligible investments can be considered all fixed investment goods that are new and unused, are functionally adapted to the conditions and activities of the holding and have a capacity, size, quantity commensurate with the production capacity of the holding. The necessary studies and the necessary software are also strengthened.

Indicative categories of eligible costs are buildings, mechanical equipment, the establishment of plantations, the construction of greenhouses, the construction of stable facilities, investments that contribute to the utilization of RES, etc.

The aid intensity, depending on the status of the beneficiary and the place of permanent residence, ranges from 40% to 80%.
