Deloitte signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Panhellenic Federation of Hoteliers (POX) with the aim of upgrading the skills and enriching the knowledge of POX members.

Specifically, the participants – members of POX will enrich their knowledge, in relation to the new trends and needs of the modern tourist market through interactive educational workshops on the organization and professional management of hotel businesses, as well as from suggestions that will make innovative use of tools, such as the use of scenarios (scenario-based learning) and case studies (case studies), the presentation of best practices and successful examples and role simulation exercises, according to the memorandum of cooperation.

As stated in the relevant announcement, the thematic sections of the educational workshops will cover key issues and needs of businesses in the hotel industry such as:

  • the most efficient financial and tax management of businesses
  • the utilization of investment incentives and financing
  • the modern trends and developments affecting the hospitality sector in Greece and abroad, such as sustainability and “green” hotels, technology and “smart” hotels, the need for comprehensive and personalized service and guest experience etc. .a.

The Panhellenic Hotel Association, recognizing the complexity of the modern environment and the need to adapt hotel businesses to the ever-changing needs, invests in training and upgrading the skills of its members in order to successfully respond to modern challenges and strengthen their position and competitiveness them in the market.

Believing in the dynamics of the above vision, Deloitte practically supports Greek tourism and its businesses.

In this direction, Deloitte undertook to design, develop and implement in collaboration with POX the educational workshops in question, utilizing the extensive experience and specialized know-how of the company and its executives in the field of tourism and hospitality.

On the occasion of the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, the president of POX, Yiannis Hatzis, commented: “We are pleased to announce the start of a strategic partnership with Deloitte and we sincerely thank it for its contribution.
