Relevant approval for participation in the program was received in March by the Municipal Committee of the Municipality of Eordaia.

The thrust of the proposal is to improve the ability of regions to develop or convert their Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) base into low-carbon activities, thus directly contributing to lower emissions and more sustainable economic growth, while maintaining the competitiveness of media and saving jobs.

The amount of funding for the Municipality of Eordaia will amount to 124,490.00 euros and is 100% financed. The Program will last 51 months, starting on 04/01/2024 and ending on 06/31/2027.

The benefits of participating in this program have to do with access to knowledge and reduction of possible mistakes through the exchange of know-how. Also, access to networking with experts, innovation and development of new ways to tackle complex challenges. Also, development of human resources and strengthening of professional skills in the workforce of the Municipality. Finally, as in most European programs, the ultimate goal is to create an ecosystem of cities facing similar challenges.
