That’s what cruises in the Aegean are like, travelers! Look now, what happened to Kasselakis and his skipper, Admiral Apostolakis. Let them go to sea and theirs, back to Koumoundourou… forget to submit a memorandum for the Spartans to the Areopagus.

The deadline was last Saturday, April 20. New Democracy and PASOK did their democratic duty on time. They documented with a series of evidence that the imprisoned Kasidiaris runs the combination and therefore should not participate in the European elections. The SYRIZAites just yesterday decided to approach the Supreme Court. It took Kasselakis and Famellos three days to negotiate. Three days until they deny the famous…usefulness of the AXA vote!

The pre-election cruise to the Aegean islands with the rented boat has a cost of over twenty thousand euros, respectable even for the rich President of SYRIZA. But he was looking for something “grande”, to make a fool of himself. So they set sail in the company of the admiral and with his slogan…I win! He wants to be directly compared to Mitsotakis. He has no political substance, he knows it. To acquire, he does not have time. What remains is the hyperactivity, the smile, some sayings and generally a nice physiognomy that the other person sees in front of him.

The Greeks, in general, are a polite people. We also know about hospitality, even of the tourist type. Kasselakis tastes the kindness of the islanders and he likes it. He hears words of sympathy. He is a newcomer to politics, people don’t know him. They approach him, he looks familiar, they want to see up close, who he is. What better than visiting the island before the tourists arrive.

From political issues, the…seafarer is pure boredom. He grew up in another place, he clearly lacks the experience of Greece. So he held on to the first life preserver and opened a discussion about the ferry connection of the islands. As if the islanders were waiting for Stefanos from Miami to give them solutions in geography.

The detailed response of the Ministry of Shipping covers all cases. The large islands are connected by almost daily routes to mainland Greece through the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio. For the smaller populated islands of the Cyclades, an additional 36 million euros are spent on itineraries either from mainland ports, or with ships departing from Syros, the seat of the region. The ministry adds that the majority of the subsidized ferry lines also provide for the free movement of permanent residents of small islands to and from the administrative centers.

Kasselakis doesn’t have much to exploit, other than marketing himself as best as possible. It launches the fresh face of a young person who, at least, wants to do politics without the standard rules. But he also lacks the political reason.

It takes a long way for sympathy to turn into a vote and, in the second phase, to become a governance vote, many miles to be exact.

Meanwhile, his opponent is rolling out government policy results. The arrests of the hooligans, after the murder of the policeman Lyggeridis, is a success for Chrysochoidis and responds to the lack of security that was negatively attributed to the Prime Minister. He was preceded by the candidacy of the imprisoned mayor of Heimarra, Fredis Beleris. The ND European ballot paper, with multiple options depending on what the voters want. The inauguration of the E-65 highway, a very important road axis, will radically change central Greece. The economy of everyday life and accuracy present as more intense problems which SYRIZA is trying to adapt to its “field”. Government economic policy is becoming stronger and citizens know it.

Europe will not be interested this time either. The tension in the standoff over the last month will wipe out the “relaxed” vote. Those who decide to step behind the screen will be asked to answer the dilemma:

If, after all, it’s worth it for a whim to send the wrong message…
