A former Member of Parliament of Thessaloniki was appointed director of the new Loverdos party

Full confirmation of “Macedonia tis Kyriaki” which had written it a long time ago that the former MP of PASOK-Movement of Change, Giorgos Arvanitidis from the 2nd Region has not only distanced himself politically from Harilaou Trikoupi but is currently helping another party.

Mr. Arvanitidis was announced as the director of the “Democrates” party of Andreas Loverdos.

According to a statement “Following the proposal of the President of the Democrats, Andreas Loverdos, and the unanimous consent of the political council, ex-MP Giorgos Arvanitidis is appointed the director of the party.

Giorgos Arvanitidis was Member of Parliament for Thessaloniki II of PASOK-Movement for Change. He comes from Sindo, Thessaloniki and is married to the economist Kalliopi Arambatzis, with whom they have two daughters, Maria and Stavroula. He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration and Economic Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After completing his university studies, he worked in the private sector as an Executive and Business Consultant. He was elected Mayor of Sindos (1995-1998) and Mayor of Echedoro (2003-2007 and 2007-2009, when he resigned in order to participate in the Parliamentary elections)”.
