The images of the unprecedented incident with the man who was found missing from the White Tower caused a shock.

A man fell from the White Tower on Monday, resulting in his death.

The incident occurred around 14:00 in the afternoon and the circumstances of the fall are being investigated by the Police.

From the data so far, there are no indications that point to a criminal act.

According to the Police it is about Greek woman, 34 years old who for an unknown reason fell from a height of 34 meters above the battlements of the White Tower.

The man born in 1990 entered the monument and paid a ticket like all tourists and climbed up the battlements as hundreds of visitors to the White Tower do every day in order to enjoy the unique view.

The authorities who examined the footage from the cameras, saw that the 34-year-old man, after entering the White Tower alone, wandered around for some time, waited for people to leave the balcony of the White Tower, took a chance and jumped into the void.

During the fall his body hit the tree branches and then ended up on the ground.
