During the discussion, at the meeting of Tuesday 4/23, on the amendment of decision No. 18/2023 of the former Municipal Council of Serbia, regarding the submission of a new request by the Municipality of Serbia to the Ministry of Rural Development and Food for the allocation of land of the former Kontogeorgakis Camp, the head of the opposition Lazaritsa Spyridou he noticed that in the decision in question (of 2023) it was not specified which Papadopoulos was the one who had gone to the Ministry together with the Mayor in the discussions that had taken place on the subject in question. The clarifying question/observation of L. Spyridou provoked the reaction of the Deputy Mayor Kallinikou Holeva, while then the confrontation “escaped” and turned into a verbal fight between them. At some point, the Mayor of Servia also intervened Ch. Eleftheriou saying that Ms. Spyridou’s specific observation/clarification was meaningless and what else should she have said/commented on, specifically that out of haste, at that time, Mr. V. Konstantopoulos’s request for a concession of 99 years (and not for 25 as is done now), a whole year was lost. See the relevant excerpt, presented by kozan.gr:
