On the occasion of an accident that occurred last Sunday night in Neapolis, namely on Karaoli Dimitriou street, with the injury of a 15-year-old student, the Association of Parents and Guardians of the 6th Gymnasium of Larissa, in a statement, requests that immediate measures be taken, so that the danger ceases of the particular road. Analytically:

On Sunday 21/4/2024 in the afternoon in Neapoli Larissa on Karaoli Dimitriou Street we witnessed a tragic accident. A young student was seriously injured and underwent surgery after being swept away. Two cars collided, hitting the student.

We all know that this particular street DOES NOT HAVE PEDESTRIAN CROSSING and the access of students to and from school cannot be done safely. Cars park immediately after the turn and pedestrian and car visibility is limited. It was only a matter of time before evil happened!

As an association of parents and guardians of the 6th Gymnasium of Larissa, we immediately ask the Municipality of Larissa to take all the necessary measures so that the road ceases to be dangerous for children and in general for all passing citizens.

We express our sympathy to the family of the young student and promise to not let such an incident happen again.
