4th Experimental Primary School of Syros: Participated in an education program in Spain

The update of the 4th Experimental Primary School states the following:

We would like to let you know the results and share the conclusions and benefits we got from the recently held 1st Erasmus+ KA210 Digital Drama (PLAY, ACT and LEARN) mobility.

Our school participates in this teacher training program with three teachers, as do our three other partner countries. In total, the program team is made up of 4 countries: Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey. The coordinating country is Spain, where the first educational movement took place from 8-12/4/2024.

During the educational travel the teachers had the opportunity to hold educational meetings on dramatic techniques, to observe exemplary teaching in the host school on a daily basis, to learn both about the Spanish educational system, to exchange ideas creatively and to get in touch and getting to know the local agencies.

In more detail, a visit was made to the City Hall of Guadalajara and an acquaintance with the Mayor of the city. This was followed by a constructive discussion about the functioning of Spain’s self-government system and a tour of the history of the place. The following day, a visit was made to the respective Regional Administration, where representatives of the Government in matters of Education and the Region of the region introduced us to the burning educational issues of the region and how to solve them.
