Syros: The Family’s “thank you” for airlifting the injured to Athens

--

On April 19th, a relative of ours was airlifted from Syros to Athens, who after a traffic accident in Lazareta, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to a Hospital in Attica.

With this letter, our family would like to warmly thank and congratulate the staff of the Air Transport Office of EKAB for their immediate and responsible individual contribution to the whole process of dealing with the above emergency incident, the Air Transport Base of Syros, the crew, the EKAV Flying Doctor Mr. Katagi Vasilios and the Flying Rescuer Mr. Michalitsi Nikolaos.

The staff of EKAV performed their duty immediately and professionally, contributing their utmost to the successful treatment of the difficult incident of our injured relative.

They provided the injured with all possible care so that he could be transported safely and with the least possible discomfort to a specific nursing facility.

Also, we sincerely thank all the contributors to the successful treatment of the incident, the medical and nursing staff of the Syros Hospital. Your contribution, your ethics and your professionalism are a shining example in the difficult days we are going through and highlight the feeling of solidarity for our fellow man.

Thank you is little… We hope that God will take care of you so that you, in turn, take care of whoever needs you.
