It is now a matter of time before the platform is opened for them tax statements for 8.5 million taxpayers, with the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis denying the scenarios for starting the process from today, as he spoke of opening “within the week”.

At the same time, the minister clarified that no new extension will be given for the submission of the declarations, which must be completed by the end of July.

It is recalled that the Ministry of National Economy and Finance has already announced an extension of the procedure, proportional to the period of the delay.

In particular, the Deputy Minister of Finance Haris Theocharis from the floor of the Parliament stated that for each day of delay beyond March 31, an extension of corresponding days will be given.

Five codes that reduce taxes

  1. Code 327-328: For those who submit a declaration with income from business activity for the first time, in order to calculate the advance tax reduced by 50%.
  2. Code 023-024: For those who have reached the age of 70, but also those who live permanently in villages with a population of up to 500 inhabitants and on islands with a population of less than 3,100 inhabitants, unless they are touristic places. In order to get rid of covering 30% of their income with electronic receipts.
  3. Code 017-018: New entrepreneurs can earn a 50% reduction in the minimum tax rate, provided that the annual gross income derived from the business activity was in 2023 up to 10,000 euros.
  4. Blockage: Taxpayers who are paid with “blockage” will have to declare it to earn a tax credit, graduated, up to 1,120 euros for each married parent with three dependent children.
  5. Code 059-060: Reduction of income tax due to donations to the State and holy temples and monasteries. The reduction amounts to 10% of donations, as long as they are amounts that are over 100 euros. The total amount of donations cannot exceed 5% of taxable income.
