“I hope to come to Larissa at some point”

The world-renowned Italian director and screenwriter Giuseppe Tornatore, known for his long-term collaboration with Ennio Morricone, the man who signs, indeed directs and writes the documentary “Ennio: The Maestro” salutes the cultural association of Ennio Morricone’s music friends , expressing the desire to visit Larissa even once.

The city, in which the club was founded and which warmly embraced the club’s actions, such as the huge mural on the main street of Larissa from the Oscar-winning movie Cinema Paradise, directed by Tornatore and composed by Morricone.

Giuseppe Tornatore:

“Hi to all!

I want to extend this greeting to you, but I hope someday to come to Larissa and see the wonderful design representations you have created on the streets of your city commemorating Ennio Morricone, his films and his works.

It’s a really great initiative and thank you also for sending me the video of the new mural you created based on my film Paradise Cinema, but also for the images you gave me permission to use in the documentary I made about Ennio Morricone.

Your initiative is wonderful! I send my greetings and thanks to the Ennio Morricone Music Friends Association of Greece and the president of the association, Konstantinos Papakostas.

It is truly wonderful that you devote so much energy to the memory of this great composer whom we all love. I personally find it very original and very moving to see this city full of giant pictures of Ennio and the films he wrote music for.

Thank you very much for your passion and your activities, which will be more and more successful.
