Giorgos Amanatidis, Regional Governor of Western Macedonia: We value the mountainous mass of Grevena”

The Grevena massif and the Vasilitsa Ski Center were described as a field of restart and upgrading by the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia, Giorgos Amanatidis, at the working meeting with senior officials of the TAIPED held in the building of the Grevena Regional Unit.

The meeting was attended by Grevena Member of Parliament Yiannis Yatios, Deputy Regional Governor P.E. Yiannis Tsaknakis of Greveno, the Mayor of Greveno Kyriakos Tataridis, the president of EXKB, Andreas Vaios, while from the side of TAIPED the CEO Dimitris Politis was present along with officials.

More specifically, the data so far were examined as well as what is required to be done (legislative regulations, studies, financial tools) so that the Vasilitsa Ski Center can be utilized multiple times (uses and activities) with a view to its operation throughout the year and in combination with the overall upgrading of the wider area.

“With specific actions and actions, we are giving extra value to the mountain massif of Grevena as we had committed ourselves by making use of all the possibilities” stressed Mr. Amanatidis, underscoring everyone’s willingness to proceed quickly with what was agreed at yesterday’s meeting.
